Web Subscription Terms

These terms apply when you buy a Pounce subscription on pouncetheapp.com instead of in the App Store or Google Play. They add to the Pounce Terms of Use. Where the two differ, these terms apply to web subscriptions.

Who you buy from

Web subscriptions are sold by WSO Digital Inc., 35 Bastion St, Unit 1016, Toronto, ON M5V 0C2, Canada. Payments are processed by Stripe through RevenueCat, our billing provider. We never see or store your full card number.

Plans and prices

The plan, its regular price, its billing period and any welcome price are shown on the page before you pay. Prices are in US dollars, or in Canadian dollars in Canada. If tax applies where you live, it’s shown before you pay.

The welcome price

A welcome price is an introductory price for your first billing period only. For example, $34.99 for your first 3 months of a plan that renews at $69.99 every 3 months.

It’s held for you for the time shown on the page. After that, the page shows the regular prices.
From your second billing period on, you pay the plan’s regular price: the one shown struck through next to the welcome price.
One welcome price per person.

Web subscriptions have no free trial.

Renewal and cancellation

Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period, at the plan’s regular price, until you cancel.

Cancelling: you can cancel online anytime, from the link in your receipt email. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for, and you won’t be charged again.
Yearly plans: we email you before a yearly plan renews.
Price changes: if we change a plan’s regular price, we’ll tell you at least 30 days before the new price applies to you, and you can cancel before it does.

14-day money-back guarantee

If Pounce isn’t for you, email info@wsodigital.com within 14 days of your first payment and we’ll refund that payment in full.

The guarantee covers the first payment only, not renewals.
Refunds go back to the card or account you paid with, usually within 5 to 10 business days.
A refund ends the subscription.

If the law where you live gives you a right to cancel an online purchase within a set time, this guarantee is in addition to that right.

Using your plan in the app

Your web subscription unlocks Pounce in the iPhone and iPad app when you sign in with the email and password you created after paying. It isn’t available in the Android app yet. Your quiz answers are saved to your account so the app can set up your cat’s plan.

A web subscription is billed separately from the App Store and Google Play. Apple and Google can’t cancel or refund it, and cancelling a store subscription doesn’t cancel it.

Failed payments

If a renewal payment fails, we try again over the next few days, and you keep access for 3 days while we do. If it still fails, the subscription ends and the paid features stop.
