Who writes the guides?

The Pounce editorial team publishes the journal on behalf of WSO Digital Inc., the developer of Pounce. The journal is part of our app business. When we explain how Pounce can help, that relationship is explicit.

These launch guides were prepared with AI assistance using Pounce’s existing curriculum and linked references. They have not been individually reviewed by a veterinarian or certified behavior professional. We do not attach invented credentials, reviews, or first-hand testing claims to an article.

Where does the advice come from?

We draw practical lesson sequences from Pounce’s curriculum and link external sources supporting broader training principles. We favor primary research, established feline-welfare organizations, and veterinary institutions. Each guide identifies its references and the date those sources were checked.

Small steps, with room for your cat.

We describe training goals and examples without promising a fixed result or timeline. Reward-based practice, choice, and attention to your cat’s comfort guide the writing. Educational articles do not replace advice from your veterinarian.

Updates should mean something.

We change an article’s updated date when the content changes materially. We aim to improve an existing guide when it already answers a question, and add a new page when it serves a distinct need. Publication frequency does not take precedence over usefulness.
